Happily married to my wife Gail, I am a proud parent and doting grandparent to a wonderful family. I have been a successful small business owner for 20 years, owning and operating a number of Supportive Residential Care hostels for the aged. I have also been a professional actor for over 40 years, featuring in many television shows, commercials, training films and several feature films.
After specialising as a presenter, voice over artist and Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the past 15 years, I became a Registered Civil Celebrant in 2004, but have worked as a Funeral Celebrant since 2002. During that time, I have been honoured to be a part of over 400 wedding ceremonies, and over 200 funeral services. As a result of my professional MC work, I also act as MC at the receptions of many of my wedding clients, after having performed their wedding ceremonies.
Amongst my clients are numerous national corporations, for whom I perform MC, presenter, and voice-over duties at their annual conferences and seminars. My professional MC work regularly takes me to conference centres across Australia.
I gained my Diploma of Marriage Celebrancy (Distinction), from the International College of Celebrancy, in mid-2004, and was registered by the Attorney-General’s Department, Celebrant Section, on the 2nd of September, that year.
I have subsequently achieved a Certificate IV in Celebrancy through the International College of Celebrancy, and have also added a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (Distinction), to my qualifications, in order to fulfil requested tutoring duties with the College.
